BUY A POP-IN PASS

  • Do you want to learn, expand your knowledge, meet like-minded people and make sewing friends?

    Pop-in sessions are informal and suitable for all experience levels. Bring your current sewing or pattern-making projects and plans. Use our space, access our equipment and benefit from our expert guidance.

    We’d love to see what you’re working on and we can offer support on any areas you’re struggling with. We can help with all things sewing, pattern-making, fitting and also upcycling, repairing and re-purposing clothes.

    *Please note, bookings are essential. Minimum 12h notice required.

  • We have extensive experience in the fashion industry. We love to share our knowledge and expertise in:

    • fashion design

    • pattern-making & grading

    • sample-making and fitting

    • sewing and garment construction, including high-end finishing

    • complex alterations and repairs

    • sewing machine tech support

    Please note, while we endeavour to provide a high level of individual support, this is a group setting so resources/ teacher access is shared.

  • Need access to machines, and people who know how to use them? Our Brunswick East studio (in Melbourne) is equipped with:

    • industrial flatbed machines

    • industrial overlocker

    • domestic sewing machines

    • cutting table

    • XL cutting mat

    Our studio capacity for pop-in sewers is limited, bookings are essential.

    Please note this is a shared space, so we cannot guarantee access to specific machines unless organised prior.

    BYO Sewing Machine
    You are welcome to bring your own sewing machine, so that you can learn and practise with your own machine. Every machine is different, our experts can help you master yours!

  • Sewing is more fun with friends! We welcome sewers of all experience levels — we are here to help, inspire, guide and support you in your sewing journey.

    Beginners please note:
    While we can’t guarantee 1-on-1 individual mentoring for the entire session, we will do our very best to support and guide you while you’re here. We can set you up for success with basic sewing instruction and demonstrations. Don’t have a project? We have plenty of beginner sewing activities for you to try!

    Professionals welcome:
    Even if you don’t need help sewing we invite you to pop-in, use our facilities, and become a part of our community.
