TERMS + CONDITIONS

Hair longer than shoulder-length must be tied back
Appropriate foot-wear must be worn (no open-toe shoes, high heels or platofrms)
Clothing must be neat-fitting and jewellery should be minimal - please avoid any long/loose clothing or jewellery items which may become tangled with machinery
Students are not permitted to operate any machinery that they have not been formally inducted and trained on.
No food or drink (except water) in the work area
Do not leave your machine powered on while you are not present - this includes bathroomb breaks, lunchtime etc. Always turn off your machine before leaving it unattended
No headphones or other personal audio equipment which may interfere with hearing (either yours or the people around you)
Keep walkways and work area clear - please store your personal belongings in the designated area as directed by our staff
Scissors and snips must be used with care, and tethered where possible to avoid possible falling
Sharps must be disposed of properly, in the designated bin provided
Avoid over-loading powerboards as this may create an electrical risk - please only use the designated power sockets as directed by our staff
Students must not attend while under the influence of drugs or alcohol
No smoking or vaping in the studio
Return iron to heat safe mat when not in use. Always check that cables, cords and other materials are not obstructing heat tools
Co-Sew provides a safe & inclusive environment and does not tolerate bullying of any kind. If any such behaviour takes place, you will be asked to leave.
Sewing requires the use of sharp and motorised tools, improper use may cause harm. By purchasing a session and/or attending co-sew in person, you agree to observe and follow our safety standards and safe operating procedures.

By purchasing a class pack, you agree that you are available on the dates listed on the product page. Unfortunately, we do not offer refunds if your availability changes after purchase. We are a small business and we incur planning & administrative costs based on class enrolments.
If you need to cancel your attendance on compassionate or medical grounds we will do our best to offer you a spot in a future class, however please note this is not always possible. Please contact us directly if you are in this position.
If Co-Sew cancels a class for any reason, you may choose to receive either a 100% refund, or to transfer to a later class.

On occasion, with your verbal agreement, photos & videos may be taken during a class. Co-Sew reserves the right to use this content for promotional purposes and no remuneration will be given. If you do not wish to be photographed or videoed please let us know.

Confirmation of your booking date and time will be sent via email. If you need to re-schedule your session after this, please get in touch as soon as possible. We can only accept changes to bookings more than 48 hours prior to the original session commencement time. If you do not attend your session you forfeit the full amount and are not entitled to any refund.
